Mike Roberts is also a founding partner of Vardanega Roberts and was admitted to practice as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in 1983. Mike is also admitted to practice in the ACT and the High Court. Mike has specialised in insurance work since 1983, and undertakes Home Warranty and Liability and property litigation and advice.

Mike conducts litigation in the Supreme, District and Local Courts, the CTTT, ADT and AAT, and provides advice for clients in areas including:

In the past, Mike undertook extensive advocacy work in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal on a regular basis without the assistance of Counsel. Mike has also appeared in the CTTT and ADT in litigated matters. He conducts training sessions for claims staff and management of several insurers and insureds. Mike has undertaken major commercial litigation, including breach of fiduciary duty, intellectual property and patent infringement. Mike is a member of the NSW Chapter of the Administrative Law Institute.

He has a particular interest in IT and e-commerce and programming in Perl, Java and Linux systems and in developing management structures and knowledge bases for legal practices.
