Nicole Dunn is Special Counsel at VR.

Nicole was admitted to practice in New South Wales in 1998.  She is also admitted in the Northern Territory and Queensland and is one of Australia’s leading employment and industrial relations lawyers.  

Nicole has extensive experience in and out of the court room in assisting both business and individual clients understand, manage and comply with the matrix of workplace laws.  Her experience includes drafting contracts, enterprise agreements,  policies. Advising and representing in contract disputes, Fair Work applications, and IRC matters some of which involve workplace investigations and discrimination matters. 

Nicole appreciates the impact workplace issues and disputes can have on those involved and believes:

Key Professional Achievements

·     Nicole has a Masters of Law Degree in Employment and Industrial Relations, through Melbourne University.
Nicole has been a partner in firms in both Sydney and Darwin and manages our Darwin office which she attedns one week per month.

·       Nicole has conducted litigation in the Federal Court and Federal Magistrates’ Court, Supreme Courts of New South Wales and the Northern Territory, the Fair Work Commission (formerly Fair Work Australia), the Local Court of New South Wales and the Magistrates Court in the Northern Territory.  Nicole regularly presents seminars to HR Professionals in the Northern Territory.
